UPDATE: 3 months later and I still find myself crying about the loss of Titan. It's worse when I'm alone because that was when he offered the most comfort to me. I have my eyes set on a new dog. I'm going to get a Dobe next. There is a breeder nearby with a couple litters due in the next month or so, so I'm going to grab one of those.

My condolences on your loss. It's never an easy thing.
I'm really sorry to hear about this. I know what it's like to lose a good faithful dog of many years' acquaintance.
